My Antique Furniture Collection Story 1:
When I went to a remote viliage some days ago I was amazed by the antique cabinets, sideboards stored by one of families. The man is much more clever with business brain. He bought with very low price from other villiagers antique furniture which they think are past and not fashion. He stored them and wait for outside buyers like me. Spring Furniture Show 3/3
The cooperation between furniture industry and new rising innovative industry has become a bright sparkling point in the Famous furniture expo this time. Hengda Furniture from Tongwuan, ACGLIFE from Guangzhou, and Dishi Park from Foshan, chose their own cartoon images as brands for marketing promotion at the same time without former arrangement, and their appearance were quite attracting, bringing fresh air for the expo this time.
The animation TV series named Pleasant Sheep and Grey Wolf is quite popularly welcomed by the children in the country at present, so Hengda Furniture took the fastest move to gain the right to use the images in Pleasant Sheep and Grey Wolf in children furniture field. The images licenses for the world famous cartoon image Hello Kitty, together with other famous Disney cartoon images such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and etc have been obtained by ACGLIFE, moreover, ACGLIFE won the image use right of Kid¡¯s WB, Rainbow Cat and Blue rabbit etc.
Foshan Dishi Park¡¯s brand new furnishing animation images created by Tongwuan Qianshou Animation&Cartoon Corporation, a local animation enterprise with longest history, have caused a certain sensation.
Advocating environmental protecting; concept of low-carbon in a popular
At the end of 2009, the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference opened, and it made people have a new awareness to the climate change. Various industries have already taken actions when they were noticing this global problem. The fiery welcomed statue of ¡°low-carbon concept¡± in numerous furniture brands marketing field has firmly proved it.
During the exhibition, the forum named ¡°Discovering the low-carbon furnishing life¡± hosted by the organization committee caught eye balls of invited guests from furniture industrial associations, furniture manufacturers, and media as well as merchants. In the mean time, a free exhibition room with its area more than 4,000km2 was provided for young designers and design organizations in ¡°Innovative Design Space¡± of Exhibition Hall No.2, in which many design works showed brand new innovative ideas according to the concept of ¡°low carbon and environmental protection.¡±
In this innovative design space on the expo, latest news about the application of bamboo material was released, and the latest scientific and research achievements, as well as multiple bamboo products including furniture, were showed up in the ¡°bamboo furniture and application of bamboo material show¡±. The innovative idea of product which has combined with bamboo products received great positive comments as it not only expended the train of design though but also catered the current theme of low carbon and environmental protection.
This theme show was organized by the expo organization committee together with Tongwuan Scientific Bureau and Wood Industry Research Center of China Forest Science Institute, therefore, it gave confidence and trans of thought to many bamboo industry bases for their constant development on the exploration procedure aiming at bamboo furniture product in future, the realization of detailed design standard, and market application etc.
Yet what have made the industry feel worried is that, the currently popular concept of low-carbon has been taken as a tool for brand promotion when it is nothing but only a concept which many enterprises are still digesting. The executive secretary of Famous Furniture Club empathized that, we have to form a good habit and have a strong will to keep practice if we want to practice low-carbon home-living, and we can not just treat it as verbal practice. If we want to realize low-carbon of furniture, the index of environmental protection of products must achieve relevant technical requirements, and there are higher claim for manufacturers to attach importance to energy-saving and emission-decreasing. In the mean time, we must have consumers to form consumption concept of environmental protection. Take the recovery and renew of furniture for example, it has not yet formed within our country, and that requires effective leading of healthy concept of healthy industry. As a matter of fact, the recovery and renew of old furniture can not only save energy, but also provide more benefits for consumers when they purchase and use these renewed furniture.
